SPRING FUND DRIVE
--Student, age 24, who is currently studying at 4-year University.
OUR GOAL: $20,000 & 200 new students
In 2011, we have a BOLD GOAL. We want to work toward enrolling 200 new students into our program and enrolled into college. SEA serves all of King County - yet most of our students find us through resources available in Seattle. We know that there are youth throughout King County searching for help to get into college.
To make ourselves more available to these youth, we have formed new partnerships with agencies in South Seattle and South King County. Agencies like the King County WorkSource and YouthSource programs in Renton, and the Yesler Terrace YMCA in the Central District in addition to our ongoing work with Metrocenter YMCA in downtown Seattle. We will continue to seek out new partnerships in South King County.
Our goal this Spring Fund Drive is to raise $20,000 by May 30 for our general fund to help us reach 200 additional youth in our community.
